If you’ve ever felt like an outsider or even an alien, like you didn’t quite belong on this planet, then you already understand the heart of Alien Sisterhood.

I started this independently owned online studio because I needed to tell stories that felt raw, surreal, and human. Growing up in a small town in southern Japan, I escaped into my sketchbooks, creating new worlds, languages, and religions just to survive and daydream about the world I wanted to live in.

Years later, after heartbreaks and starting over, I picked up the pen again. And Alien Sisterhood was born.

Alien Sisterhood is more than just an art studio. It’s a universe of cosmic artwork that mixes raw human experiences with storytelling. Through alien girls, colorful visuals, and dreamlike pastel worlds, I explore what it means to survive, transform, and find your people/place in this world.

Why illustrated lyric essays?

Illustrated lyric essays allow me to merge words and visuals into something powerful. Each page is a portal; art you can feel, paired with stories you can see yourself inside. These stories are grounded in real experience and emotions of love, loss, survival, and self-discovery.
